I Am Second

It is so easy to get wrapped in this world and forget our priorities. Fame, fortunes, material positions, the attention others and pride are just some of the distractions that creep in and interfere with my life. These things often take priorities over what should be first in my life–and that is God.  For me, I often struggle with the idea I am second. It is my personal belief that God is to be first in my life.

Thankfully, I am not alone in this fight to put God first in my life. In fact, there are probably many people you have probably heard of (including Josh Hamilton [MLB], Mike Huckabee [Presidential Candidate], Brian “Head” Welch [Ex-Guitarist KORN])  that have joined a movement called, “I am Second.” This is an awesome movement inspiring people to put God where he belongs–first in our lives.  Take a look at this video:
